I'm sure you noticed that both the "F" and "J" keys have ridges on your desktop or laptops. What are they for? Do they have a purpose?
The answer is simple, the ridges on "F" and "J" are for those people who "touch-type" - meaning the ones who type without looking the keyboard. These two ridges are being used by touch-typers to identify the position of their fingers on the keyboard. They are there to help position the HOME KEYS ( ASDF and JKL) for faster typing!
Now you now!
